In the November issue of Leadership Guide Magazine the timely topic of corporate goverance is discussed in two articles by Linda Hatcher. Part I provides an overview of ethical corporate goverance and Part II presents several guidelines for use in establishing a goverance program in an organization.
The third article is entitled "Holding Subordinates Accountable" by Fred A. Manske Jr., author of Secrets of Effective Leadership - a Practical Guide to Success. It is the first of a series of two articles on this important topic. The article is written primarly for first and second level managers; altlhough much of it also applies to working with mid-level managers to correct performance deficiencies.
